Resolution of Appreciation of Gary Burch Whereas Gary Burch, Chief Engineer, Engineering and Construction Administration, Department of Public Works, District of Columbia government, has always been available to meet with residents of the District of Columbia to discuss their traffic and street construction concerns; Whereas Gary Burch, has been one of the more responsive DPW employees; Whereas Gary Burch has helped resolve many of the concerns brought to his attention by District residents; Whereas Gary Burch is retiring from the District government and the residents of the Friendship Heights and American University neighborhoods feel as if they are losing the one person in DPW who was accessible, who listened, who responded; Now therefore, at its March 9, 2000 meeting ANC 3-E expresses its appreciation to Gary Burch for his long service to the residents of the District of Columbia, and wishes him great success in his new endeavor. ANC 3-E approved this resolution 5-0 on March 9, 2000. Commissioners present were Jill Diskan, Chris McNamara, Steve Posniak, Charles Mayo, and Tad DiBiase.
